General Drone Laws Germany
– For flying above 100 meters you need to have permitted.
– All drone pilots might have all the time visual contact with the drone. There is an exception only in case that there is a permit for flights no higher than 30 m above the ground. It’s wight must be 250 grams Maximum.
– If the drone is more than 5kg it’s forbidden to fly at night time without a permission.
– When the drone is in range 2-5 kg you can fly it without a permit but you must have a License.
– For all flies above the territory of Germany is obligated to have an Insurance.
– The distance to any Airport must be at least 1.5 kilometers or more.
– For all drones must be provided a Badge with the owner’s ( or operator’s ) data – Name and Address.
– It’s absolutely forbidden to fly oven : Disaster areas, Prisons, Residential areas, Crowds, Some specific traffic routes, and other specified areas.

Note: Don’t forget to check it before you fly your drone!
– For all the Federal objects : highways, waterways and railways – you have to keep distance at least 100 meters.
– All the drones who have options to transfer or record acoustic, optical or radio signals – are NOT allowed. Unless in case that you have agreed officially.
– Over Nature Conservation Areas – you must NO fly. They are protected by Federal Nature Conservation Act.
