Some tourist travel tips for Singapore

Although small in size, the city-state is extremely rich in attractions. Emblematic historic buildings side by side with the wonders of modern architecture, cultural communities from all parts of Asia, a rich variety of restaurants, malls and shops make Singapore a place worth visiting, and these are the sites you should not miss to include in your walk there.

Marina Bay

Marina Bay is what we would call a marvel of architectural art. The huge building consists of three towers connected from above by a platform in the shape of a boat. The complex houses a large modern mall with dozens of shops, all kinds of restaurants, a casino, a hotel, a museum and a cinema.

If you decide to stay at the hotel, the cheapest rooms will cost you over $ 400 per night, but you will be able to enjoy the amazing “infinity pool”, which is located on the roof.

Gardens by the Bay

Spread over 110 hectares, this complex of gardens is a place you can not visit in one day. In it you will find green gardens with quiet walking paths, two huge domes full of different gardens, and even a mountain with a waterfall, colorful tall supertrees that light up in different colors at 8 o’clock in the evening for the light show.

Clarke Quay

The old shopping piers on the Singapore River have been turned into a wonderful place to walk, overlooking the tall buildings of the center, as well as many shops and restaurants – a favorite place for both locals and tourists for a relaxing dinner.

Chinatown and the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

Chinatown is large and colorful, full of merchants and small shops, picturesque streets lined with red lanterns, and all sorts of familiar and unfamiliar smells. In it is the temple revered by Buddhists, which keeps a piece of Buddha’s tooth. The temple is very beautiful seen from the outside, on several floors, and rich interior.

The wheel of Singapore

One turn on the 165 m high Ferris wheel is about 30 minutes and gives a great opportunity to see the city from high and cool.

Sentosa

An island full of fun – you can choose to walk in the gardens, lie under the palm trees on the beach, shop on the main street, visit the Universal Studios amusement park, try a free fall simulator, zip down, get on the carousel and many, many more. The evenings offer several light and sound shows.
