Drone rules in Netherlands

    • Drone flights are allowed in Air spaces with Category ”G” only. These limitations decrease the allowed zones. The map of No-fly zones is very important to those zones. You can see the map here.

    • Visual eye contact with the drone during flight – All the time.

    • Flights only Day time.

    • Always keep safe distance buildings and objects. Distance to people – always.

    • Max high of the flight over ground – 120 meters.

    • If you see Aircraft approach to your drone- you must land your machine immediately.

Drone Regulations for Recreational flights:

      • – Max Weight of the drone – 25kg.

      • – Flying above people and city’s buildings – Not allowed.

      • – All material you shoot with your drone is for your own usage – Photos and films.

– For perform Commercial operations – the pilot must have License.

– Max wеight of drone -25 kg.

– Visual contact – all the time.

– Max high of the flight – 120 meters.

– If you don’t keep all the rules, there is a chance to receive a Warning. In some cases a confiscation of the drone machine is possible. The penaltie may varies.

– Drone Insurance – Recommended.
