Drone laws in Canada:
Drones with weight 250g – 25kg must have Registration. This registration can be done here. Note there is a fee – 5$ . After get registered your drone have to be marked.
Penalties – If your drone fly unregistered you may get $1,000 for a person. If you are a corporation – it will be and $5,000. Be careful and avoid any penalties. If you get some you will loose happy mood for flying your drone.

Get Certificate for your drone – visit this web page. When you register you have to choose witch kind of pilot you are- Basic or Advanced. Two types of registrations have different usages. The registration if fast process – but you need to provide follow: purchase date (if applicable) , all specifications of the drone – serial number, weight, date of make, model. On the Drone Management Portal you should choose type of security options : a Government of Canada login (GCKey) or your online banking login (sign-in partner). Always keep visual eye contact with the drone. This is basic and main rule.
